Recently, Colleen Savage, a singer from Crossmaglen introduced the children of Scoil Naomh Bríd and Scoil Naomh Lorcan to some of the Gaelic songs collected by John Hannon (1867 – 1931) and taught them a song from his collection. Colleen is currently undertaking postgraduate research in our local Gaelic song tradition at Dundalk Institute of Technology.
