The presentation was delivered by Ryan Hogan BA (Hons.) MRes, who used the findings of his Master’s thesis on the’ Dialect of Omeath to present a dialectal analysis and ascertain that the Omeith dialect to be a strand of Ulster Irish…

The presentation was enhanced by unique archive audio recordings of the native dialect and the audience were transported back to former times of Omeith by listening to the spoken word and the vocal ornamentation of native song.
